GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, (November 1, 2001) - Aquinas College is pleased to host Edgar Flores, as a part of the Art and Music Center Gallery Exhibit. A gallery opening reception will be held on Sunday, November 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Art and Music Center Gallery. Admission is free of charge.

Flores paintings and symbolic indigenous designs will be on display in the gallery from Sunday, November 18 to Friday, December 21. The gallery hours are Monday-Thursday,10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Friday, 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The gallery will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Sunday, November 25.

Flores, an Ecuadorian Painter, was recently selected to participate in an international exhibit co-sponsored by Kentucky Partners of Americas, the Lexington Art League of Kentucky and the American Embassy in Quito, Ecuador. He will be displaying painting of both landscapes of Ecuador and some of Kansas.
