Aquinas College is inviting the Grand Rapids Community to an Earth Day Celebration!!
The event will be held on Monday, April 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Wege Student Center
located at 1607 Robinson Road SE, Grand Rapids on the Aquinas Campus. For only $6
you are welcome to dine on meal options provided by local farms using organic farming
techniques!
At the same time, enjoy the melodies of a local band, Kinsfolk! Educational tables from Farms Without Harm, the West Michigan Environmental Action Council, the Center for Sustainability, and the Aquinas Sustainability Initiative will provide valuable information on the importance of supporting local, sustainable agriculture. Our evening's food waste will be collected and donated to Crane Dance Farm in Middleville, Michigan for animal feed and soil enrichment.
