Welcome back to campus to our students, staff and faculty!

You may have noticed that we moved a few things – offices, printers, etc. – while you were away. While it may be confusing initially, we are tracking the changes on this webpage and posting signs across campus to get you where you want to be.

There are good reasons why these changes happened. First, consolidating similar offices into one location helps students, faculty and staff get things done more efficiently. Second, when similar services are in one location, it’s easier for students and campus visitors to find individual offices. Third, there are real financial benefits when optimizing things like printing services and office space. Many of these changes align with a master plan for Aquinas that was designed and planned in 2015.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what moved:

Administrative offices such as Advancement, Business, Student Accounts, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications and most of the President’s cabinet have been moved to Holmdene.

Academic support services like peer tutoring, TRIO SSS and other CORE offices have moved to the ground floor level of the library. The Writing Center is now located in JLH 230 on the second floor.

Student affairs has moved to the lower Donnelly Center to consolidate SAO, CDI&E, Title IX, Residence Life, and Dean of Students Office.

Campus Dining is expanding its hours and food options in the Wege Cafe, and The Moose will expand its retail options. The Corner Cafe is closing.

The Mailroom has been moved to the third floor of AB. ITS now manages this service.

The faculty lounge in the lower level of AB has been cleaned and has received a new secure printer. The faculty mailboxes have also been moved into that space, and new swipe locks have been installed on the doors.

Printing & copying services have changed this summer. There are new color printers across campus, and self-service printing and copying is now the primary way to get ink on paper. The Copy Center no longer exists.

Graphic services have been moved to the lower level of AB to consolidate the high-end printing needs for our campus community. Please use the new color printers, or the secure printer in the faculty lounge, for everyday jobs.

The Advantage Center and Nelson’s Bowtie have moved to the first floor of AB to be closer to students. An office for the student senate is also in this space.

Counseling, Health & Wellness Services have all been consolidated and moved to the lower level of the Wege Student Center.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this transition period.
