Jupiter
Jupiter ♃
Jupiter is the fifth and largest planet within the solar system. It is appropriately named after the king of the Roman gods. It is approximately 484 million miles (5.20 Astronomical Units) from the Sun. A day on Jupiter lasts approximately 10 hours, and one year takes 4,333 Earth days, just shy of 12 Earth years. The gravity on Jupiter is 2.5 times the pull of the Earth's, making walking, standing and other normally easy tasks very difficult. This would be made even harder by the fact that Jupiter is a gas giant; it lacks a true surface and instead is mostly made up of swirling gases and liquids. Its Great Red Spot (seen in the upper-right of the image) is a storm twice the size of Earth that has been raging for well over 150 years, and potentially even longer.
