The School of Education at Aquinas College holds nationally recognized accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). Awarded initial TEAC accreditation in 2013, the School of Education earned the highest level of accreditation through its most recent accreditation review with CAEP (April 2018-June 2025).

Nursing
The University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) offers a 4-year baccalaureate program in nursing at Aquinas College (AQ). This unique partnership with Aquinas College and Mercy Health Saint Mary's provides the opportunity to complete liberal arts and supportive coursework at AQ taught by Aquinas faculty. All nursing coursework is taught by UDM faculty. Students gain hands on clinical experience at Mercy Health Saint Mary's and other facilities throughout West Michigan. Students graduate with a BSN from UDM. The baccalaureate program at the University of Detroit Mercy is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036, (202) 887-6791.
Aquinas College has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.
Aquinas College has maintained accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission since 1946.
