Thanks to the diligence and care of our faculty and staff, Aquinas College has achieved a 97% career placement rate for our 2024 graduates, the highest in the past decade.

The AQ Advantage Center at Aquinas College plays a vital role in preparing students and alumni for life after graduation. They offer personalized career coaching, resume and interview preparation, workshops, and access to career development classes.

According to their Annual Report, the 2024-2025 academic year has been “defined by collaboration and significant growth.” They cite the relocation from Flannery Hall to the Academic Building as one of the biggest reasons for their success, stating that this central hub on campus has helped them move “beyond isolated career events and foster stronger partnerships across the college.”

This relocation to the Academic Building has afforded them more foot traffic and walk-in appointments, meaning that more students now encounter additional career opportunities and support during their day-to-day academic pursuits. The Center itself has even become a regular hangout space for students in the Block to spend their breaks.

In addition to their record-breaking career placement success, the Advantage Center Staff has secured the largest internship class and career fair attendance this past spring. There were 69 interns, compared to the 55 we had in the previous spring (2024), and the record attendance numbers for the fall and spring career fairs are listed below:

  • Fall 2024 - 39 attendees | Fall 2023 - 26 attendees
  • Spring 2025 - 55 attendees | Spring 2024 - 37 attendees
  • Aquinas had the third-highest turnout in Spring 25 after GVSU and Calvin, surpassing all other universities.

These are only a few of the accomplishments listed for this year, and The Advantage Center’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down, thanks to the continued efforts of its staff and our dedicated faculty. Together, their commitment to student success is creating a more connected and opportunity-rich campus environment.
