Nursing Student Checklist

Visit Campus

Meet with 1:1 with a counselor to discuss the program and tour our beautiful campus. Be sure to see our state-of-the-art Albertus Magnus Hall of Science, home to our nursing program. (Those who visit earn a one-time $1,000 campus visit grant, which is added to your financial aid package! It's renewable for up to four years of full-time, undergraduate tuition.) 

Apply

Still need to submit your application? Apply to the University of Detroit Mercy nursing program at Aquinas College by visiting aquinas.edu/apply. It's fee free!

Send official high school transcripts to Aquinas College

To receive a timely admissions decision, please ensure your official high school transcripts and available test scores (ACT/SAT) are sent to Aquinas College through Parchment, snail mail, or via email (admissions@aquinas.edu), directly from your high school. Your high school counselor can help with this.

File the FAFSA

Complete the FAFSA as early as possible for optimal consideration. Add the University of Detroit Mercy's FAFSA code (002323) to your student aid application. (Since all financial aid for the nursing program comes from UDM, do NOT use Aquinas’ school code.)

Confirm your enrollment by submitting your deposit

Are you ready to commit to your nursing journey? After you are admitted, submit your deposit to secure your spot (Deposit is fully refundable through May 1st, 2025).
