Discover Nursing at Aquinas

Nursing at Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, Michigan

The University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) offers a full-time, 4-year direct admit Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at Aquinas College (AQ). This unique partnership with Aquinas College and Trinity Health Grand Rapids provides the opportunity to complete liberal arts and supportive coursework at AQ taught by Aquinas faculty. All nursing coursework is taught by UDM faculty. The program is 100% in Grand Rapids. Students gain hands on clinical experience at Trinity Health Grand Rapids and several other facilities throughout Grand Rapids. Students graduate with a BSN from the University of Detroit Mercy. The program at Detroit Mercy is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Since nursing students are technically UDM students, they are not eligible to participate on Aquinas College athletic teams.

Direct Admit Program

Enter the Nursing program straight out of high school. With the direct-admit program, you are assured of your spot in the University of Detroit Mercy nursing program right out of high school rather than waiting two years to compete for a spot, as is typically the scenario at schools without the direct-admit format.
