Michael Curry earned his bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Grand Valley State
University, his master's degree in Economics from Walsh College, and is currently
pursuing a PhD at St. Mary's University (London, Twickenham). A veteran of the higher
education, private, and non-profit sectors he brings two and a half decades of industry
experience and insight to bear on his teaching. Prior to his work at Aquinas College,
Professor Curry taught at Northwood University, the University of Detroit Mercy, the
University of Mary, and Walsh College. An advocate of the liberal arts, and in particular
the teaching of economics as a social science, his scholarly interests include the
philosophical, political, and economic foundations of civil society. Professor Curry
resides with his wife and family in West Michigan.
