Brendan Bohnhorst joined the music department at Aquinas College in 2010. He currently
is the Principal Tuba with the Holland Symphony Orchestra, a position he has held
since 2009. Brendan has been a featured soloist with the HSO on multiple occasions.
His musical career has taken him to twelve countries and all across the United States.
As a student, he attended both Grand Valley State University and McGill University
studying with Jacob Cameron and Sasha Johnson. An avid chamber musician, he continued
his studies by participating in both the Bayview Music Festival and the Hawaii Performing
Arts Festival. He currently resides in Grand Rapids with his Wife and two dogs.
