Alicia comes from a strong background of supporting underrepresented students both
academically and socially in their higher education journeys. Prior to becoming Dean
of Students, Alicia served as the Director of the Center for Diversity, Inclusion
& Equity at Aquinas and was a Special Advisor to the President. Alicia works to create
an inclusive community of respect at Aquinas College.
She received both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Higher Education degree from
Grand Valley State University.
In her free time, you'll find Alicia watching movies, spending time with family and
friends, and frequenting her favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids.
