Prayer for Guidance and Wisdom

Almighty and merciful God, be with us and lead us as we choose the next president of Aquinas College.

We ask you to keep us faithful to your Truth and your desire for us to create an inclusive educational community rooted in the Catholic and Dominican tradition.

We seek your direction and guidance that we may find a person who will lead us into the future as a diverse educational and faith community dedicated to the pursuit of the common good.

Grant us insight, openness, and joy, so that we may hear your voice in all our deliberations.

Grant us also the desire and the ability to truly hear one another and those who have entrusted us with this process.

Give us the courage to respond and act as you lead us. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful ones. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
