Dr. Molly Wilson joined the Counselor Education faculty in 2017. She earned her M.A.
in Counselor Education with a Clinical Mental Health Counseling concentration from
the University of Toledo and her Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision from the
University of Wyoming. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings counseling
individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Her primary research focus is exploring
counselor preparation regarding client sexuality. Additional areas of interest include
sexual wellness, feminist counseling approaches, qualitative research, expressive
arts, and play therapy. Dr. Wilson has presented at various international, national,
state, and local conferences. She also contributed several entries for the SAGE Encyclopedia
of Marriage and Family Counseling (2017).
