Saints Together is the path forward for Aquinas College, a plan for the return to the place that we call home, where we live, and work and thrive together. The Saints Together plan is guided by our Dominican heritage and focuses first on the health and wellbeing of our campus community. This page is intended to serve as a central source of the most up-to-date information and will be updated regularly.
The AQ Opens Task Force and members of our community from across campus have diligently reviewed information from various public health, government and higher education experts such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), the Kent County Health Department (KCHD), the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA), MI Safe Start Plan, the American College Health Association (ACHA), the Michigan Independent Colleges and Universities (MICU) and more.
Along with members of our community across campus, the task force has been discussing, planning and developing precautions and protocols so that you have confidence that we are doing all that we can to limit the spread of COVID-19 on campus.
As this public health situation evolves, our planning and protocols will also evolve in accordance with public health guidelines based on science and data. We will continue to monitor the situation and review our operations in collaboration with the health department, and we will make adjustments as necessary. Although we cannot predict the future ahead of us, we will continue to operate with the utmost care and concern for our campus community.
