Living on-campus gives students the opportunity to develop and thrive in all dimensions of life. The convenience and proximity to classrooms, food service, and events makes busy schedules easy. On-campus housing also affords students the opportunity to develop deep, meaningful relationships and learn to foster community. From a detailed roommate matching process to customized programming, the Residence Life staff supports students through times of transition and growth, whether it be learning how to do laundry or handling conflict.

Closing Notice for Traditional Residence Halls and On-Campus Houses

St. Joseph Hall, Regina Hall, Hruby Hall, Dominican Hall, and the on-campus houses will close for Christmas Break at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21st and re-open at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 13th. Please take a few moments to review the entire closing notice by CLICKING HERE to ensure that you are prepared for closing on December 21st.

“Break housing” is available for students who need to return early to their assigned room in Aquinas residential facilities, before 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 13th, but no earlier than 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2nd.  Similar to fall break or spring break, this “break” housing is available to students with approved reasons who make the request via the online form which is due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, December 14th. Break Notice for Apartment Residents

Per the Aquinas College Housing Contract, all on-campus apartments will remain open during the vacation periods. This includes: Ruth Rasmus Eberhard, Fr. Bartolome de las Casas, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Martin de Porres, and St. Rose of Lima. Students who live in the apartments are asked to inform the Residence Life Office of their Christmas Break housing intentions via an online form. Knowing your break plans will help the Residence Life Office coordinate with Physical Plant and the IT office on any facilities projects that will take place over the break. This form will be sent to the e-mail of all on-campus apartment residents, but can also be accessed by CLICKING HERE or via the link on the sidebar at the Residence Life website.

The application to the Resident Assistant (RA) position for the 2019-2020 academic year is now available! The RA position is one that yields many benefits including leadership opportunities, community engagement, and personal growth. 2018-2019 Housing Wait-List

Unless there is a serious reason or an extenuating circumstance, we are not in a position to re-assign students to different rooms.  We also have a freeze on all room changes through the first 2 weeks of the semester.  We would be happy to add your name to the wait-list for room changes in the UNLIKELY event that we are able to accommodate the room change at any point over the summer.
