AQUINAS COLLEGE STUDENTS GO "INTO THE STREET" - Sep 27, 2001

September 27, 2001 - GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, September 27, 2001 ? Aquinas College students will be participating in "Into the Street" from October 6 through October 14. "Into the Street" is a week of service learning where Aquinas College students volunteer in various community organizations in the Grand Rapids area.

On Saturday, October 6 students will be painting at the Heartside Chapel at 8:00 a.m. On Tuesday, October 9 and Wednesday, October 10 students will be volunteering from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Homeless Youth Services. Thursday, October 11 Aquinas students will choose to be either at the Inner City Christian Federation or the House of Prayer Ministry from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. On Saturday, October 13 students will be volunteering throughout the day at the Citywide Food Drive.
