    Aquinas Breaks Ground on $32 Million Science Expansion and Renovation

    On Thursday, September 21, 2017, faculty, staff, students, alumni and supporters of the college participated in a ceremony to break ground on the college's $32 million expansion and renovation of the Albertus Magnus Hall of Science.

    Beam Signing in Honor of Sister Aquinas' Birthday

    Staff, faculty, students, trustees and other friends of the college were on hand on May 2 to celebrate Sister Aquinas Weber's 95th birthday by signing a construction beam of the Sister Mary Aquinas Weber wing of the Albertus Magnus Hall of Science.

    Adam’s current project is evaluating rapid allergen detection technology for Amway’s manufacturing lines. The lab tests for contaminants like E.Coli or salmonella in all the raw materials and equipment used, as well as the finished product.

    A New Chapel

    For the first time in the 131-year history of the College, Aquinas has a building specifically built as a chapel. Through the years, with fortitude and practicality we’ve made the most of existing structures.

  • Fact: Dominican Sisters

    Aquinas College was founded by the Dominican Sisters, named for a heretical and then canonized saint, and established as the country’s very first co-educational Catholic college.
