Alumni Association Leadership Council

The Alumni Association Leadership Council (AALC) oversees the outstanding Alumni Award programs, actively supports alumni engagement and serves as the liaison between Aquinas College Alumni and the Board of Trustees.

Meet Your Alumni Council 

Will Eberle Will Eberle '10
After graduating in 2010 with B.A.s in Political Science, English, and History, Will worked as field director for Pat Miles' (AQ '88 and former member of the Board of Trustees) campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives. He then spent nearly four years working in the United States Senate for U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan, rising to become her press secretary before going back to school and earning a Masters in Public Policy with a concentration in International and Global Affairs from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He currently works as the Director of Government Relations and External Affairs for E.ON North America, an international utility-scale renewable energy company, working on on-shore and off-shore wind, solar photovoltaic, and battery energy storage issues at all levels of government. He and his wife Maureen live in Chicago with their cat, Mags (yes, named after former Detroit Tiger Magglio Ordonez).

Amelia is currently the Responsible Sourcing Specialist at Wolverine World Wide. Amelia States: “The most amazing experiences I had were opportunities that I would never have considered possible before AQ”.

Josh Marko Josh Marko '10
President Emeritus

Josh’s journey following graduation from Aquinas has included nuclear power maintenance, managing a motorsports venue, and completing an MBA. He is a project manager with the Michigan Small Business Development Center at Grand Valley State University. Josh has also serves on the Executive Committee of American Model United Nations International. Josh states, “Aquinas has been central to my life since my father accepted a position at the College as a professor in 1989. My experience as a student was formative academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. I did not anticipate how significant and enduring relationships with peers, faculty and staff would become. These individuals continue to be a meaningful part of my day-to-day life. Serving on the Alumni Board is an opportunity to spend time with the AQ family, as well as to contribute to the mission of the institution that has brought me so much benefit.”

Chris is the Athletic Director / Director of Student Activities at Kalamazoo Hackett Prep High School. "My wife and I are both AQ Alums and feel a strong sense for the purpose of Aquinas. The AALC is a great way to get involved and connect with other alumni as well as help attract new students."

Jim is currently Vice President of Payroll Operations at BASIC. Jim states, "Having three kids there currently, I wanted to get involved more with the college and give back to a college that supported and shaped me."

Kevin is currently the Curator of Education at Tri-Cities Historical Museum. Kevin states: "Aquinas College and the years I spent studying there hold a special place in my heart. I have always wanted to give back to the place that gave me so much. Joining the AALC seemed like a great way to do that."

Amy is currently the Co-Owner of Management Business Solutions. Amy states: “Aquinas holds a special place in my heart and I want to give back my talents that I have acquired over the years since graduation”.

Allyson presently works as a Health Care Council Lead at West Michigan Works. Allyson states: “I graduated a semester early from Aquinas. After that, I couldn’t leave”.

I joined the AALC for two reasons: 1) to reconnect with the AQ community as an adult, and 2) help (re)engage current and future alums."
